Diabetes is currently the most debilitating disease that humanity has ever faced. Indians are more centrally fat at a given BMI than white Caucasians, and they are more insulin resistant even at lower BMI levels, making them more susceptible to diabetes. The purpose of this chapter is to highlight the therapeutic effects of fenugreek seed on patients with type 2 diabetes.
