Mucosal Cryo-Globulin: Mini-Review | Chapter 11 | Issues and Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol.10

Human immunoglobulins are classified into three types based on their heat sensitivity: Normoglobulin (Norm-opotent), Cryoglobulin (Cryo-potent), and Pyroglobulin (Pyro-potent). The existence of cryoglobulins in the human body is the subject of two main issues. The first contends that they are only found in serum. The second group believes they are present in serum as well as other bodily fluids such as urine. The purpose of this chapter was to demonstrate the presence of cryo-globulin in the urine of pulmonary tuberculosis patients whose serum was positive for cryo-globulins. As a result, the authors believe that cryo-globulin is present in both serum and bodily fluids in both health (normal quantities) and chronic intracellular bacterial infectious illnesses (high concentrations) (Abnormal concentrations).
