Odontomes are hamartomatous dental tissue developmental abnormalities that impede tooth eruption. Odontomes are more abundant in the permanent dentition and are uncommon in the primary dentition. This case report describes an odontome discovered by chance attached to a primary tooth during routine radiographic diagnosis, emphasising the importance of early odontome diagnosis and management to avoid future complications such as retained deciduous teeth and impaction of permanent teeth, malocclusion, and so on.
