A Mini-Review on Current Management Options in Caesarean Scar Ectopic Pregnancy | Chapter 03 | Issues and Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 3

 Scar ectopic pregnancy is difficult to diagnose since patient symptoms vary widely, with one-third of patients asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis. Scar ectopic pregnancy has been treated using a variety of approaches. To treat patients with scar ectopic pregnancy, a variety of surgical options are available, including D&C and scar ectopic pregnancy excision via abdominal, laparoscopic, or hysteroscopic surgery. The only way to get rid of it for good is to have a hysterectomy.
