Building Asian Women Cancer Support Group: An Observational Study | Chapter 02 | Issues and Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 3

For a cancer patient, having a strong support system is crucial. It is significantly more critical for Asian women with cancer than for women of other ethnicities. China is the only country in which women commit suicide at a higher rate than men. Domestic violence is the explanation behind this. The purpose of this study is to show how a lady with cancer can create her own support system. When they are victims of domestic violence, who should they contact, and whether and how to make her employment a wellness programme. Also, she needs to decide where she wants to reside. Chemotherapy and radiation are only part of cancer treatment. It's about a comprehensive plan to make the patient feel better overall. The high rate of cancer death among Chinese American women can be attributed to their low socioeconomic level, marital violence, and lack of support.
