Many authors have written about the importance of employee selection. Employee Selection is one of the most significant areas of Human Resource Management if we consider that the success or failure of an organisation is determined by the talent pool of its employees. "A technique of discriminating between applicants in order to identify (and hire) individuals with a greater possibility of success in a job," according to Thomas Stone.
Organizations use a variety of sources of data to create a reliable and accurate picture of a potential employee's ability to succeed on the job [1]. Though many types of interviews are the most generally used and popular selection approach, they are prone to various biases and rator's errors, and thus must be complemented with a few more selection procedures that will increase the probability of selecting the correct candidate for the job. Graphology is one such strategy, and the purpose of this research article is to investigate what graphology is, its significance in employee selection, and how it might be employed as a potentially useful employee selection technique.Author(S) Details
