The primary causal causes for obesity include environmental factors such as eating habits, lifestyle, and outdoor activity. Obesity in children has increased dramatically during the previous three decades. To get a better understanding of how lifestyle behaviours affect obesity in school-aged children and to promote awareness about the necessity of leading a healthy lifestyle. A questionnaire was presented to 200 children aged 10 to 14 in a private school after gaining permission from the authorities. A total of 190 children were included in the study. There were 23 questions, covering topics such as chocolate consumption, afternoon napping, outdoor versus indoor play, obesity in the family, method of transportation, and so on. Two image-based questions were incorporated to learn about their preferences for outdoor or indoor videogames, as well as junk food or fresh veggies. The response was analysed and visually depicted. 35.2 percent of students favoured junk food, 24.2 percent preferred video games, and 21.1 percent of students watched TV for more than 2 hours everyday, all of which are bad lifestyle practises. According to the survey, 58.5 percent of pupils said they had good eating and playing habits. Following the evaluation, the study group was addressed. They were inspired to adopt healthy lifestyle practises that, if implemented at a young age, might help them avoid becoming obese as adults.
