The Successful New Manufacturing Products in International Markets at Volvo Cars Manufacturing Malaysia | Chapter 04 | New Innovations in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 5

 Purpose: International markets provide significant opportunity for companies to develop new goods and influence their performance. The goal of this study is to look into the elements that influence new product success in terms of export performance.

Design/Methodology/Approach: This study identifies the elements that influence the success of new products in worldwide marketplaces. Employees at Volvo Cars Manufacturing Malaysia are given questionnaires to fill out in order to collect data. Only 100 of the 130 surveys issued to corporate employees were completed and returned. The questionnaire response rate is 76.92 percent.

Findings: The study looked at how well a company performed in the worldwide market for a variety of new product success variables. It identified pre-development, development activities, product cost and financial value, advertising direction magnitude, and order of entry and large for successful new products in worldwide markets. Product features, product competitiveness, and market attractiveness are not key factors in new product success in international markets.

Originality/Value: The study's major goal is to establish new product success factors in foreign marketplaces. The purpose of this study is to generate all of the aspects that contribute to new product success in foreign markets.
