This book's goal is to give readers an overview of the physiotherapy profession and its position in the Indian health-care system. The book's content is separated into three chapters. The first chapter gives an overview of health-care practises in India, including both public and commercial sectors, as well as the educational goals of allied and health-care professionals. The physiotherapy profession is the focus of the second chapter. This chapter explains the scope of physiotherapy and the organisations that regulate it on a national and international level. The third chapter informs the reader on the importance of professional ethics in the physiotherapy profession, as well as ethical difficulties that arise and how to deal with them in clinical practise.
