Determination of Lymphoma without Peripheral Lymphadenopathy: An Approach to Definitive Diagnosis by Flowcytometry | Chapter 16 | Issues and Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 6

The indolent B-cell neoplasm splenic lymphoma with circulating villous lymphocytes (SLVL) is a splenic lymphoma with circulating villous lymphocytes. Due to its rarity, determining a clear diagnosis might be difficult. The most common kind of lymphoma linked to HCV infection is marginal zone lymphoma. We will examine SLVL in this study through a variety of ways. Peripheral lymphadenopathy is not seen in these patients, despite the fact that it is a lymphoma variation. Flow-cytometry analysis of a blood or bone marrow sample may be helpful in determining the proper diagnosis.
