A Propos Cascade Stomach – A Commentary | Chapter 12 | Issues and Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 5

On the basis of imaging, the clinician does not normally rule out the diagnosis of a cascading stomach. With the exception of commencing therapy for reflux symptoms or dyspepsia, a specific treatment is rarely required. As a result, gastroenterologists rarely pay attention to the cascading stomach. When a patient presents the radiological upper gastroenterological series of this illness, additional characteristics are occasionally described. It's still up in the air if these strange symptoms are simply coincidental but non-specific symptoms of the illness. The case of a patient diagnosed with a cascading stomach who presented with a variety of upper abdominal problems, the majority of which are not usually linked with this ailment, is described here.
