The tape technique is the most regularly used method for evaluating spine mobility and is considered the standard and most widely used approach. Although not the most accurate, the goniometric method of evaluating spinal mobility appears to be clinically accessible, objective, and simple to apply, but few research have utilised and evaluated it in healthy participants. The goniometer's specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy for detecting spinal mobility in all planes (sagittal, frontal, and transverse) in healthy people are discussed in this chapter. It also suggests a way for quantifying each movement of the spine, as well as probable causes.
