Internal Model Control for Non-square Processes with Time-delays Based on Non-square Effective Relative Gain | Chapter 08 | Technological Innovation in Engineering Research Vol. 2

An internal model control (IMC) structure with a proposed inversion approach for the internal model controller design is provided in this book chapter. This command structure is intended for non-square multivariable linear systems with time delays and singular transfer matrices.

The suggested IMC is applied to a three-input, two-output industrial system.

For non-square systems, the simulation results are good, demonstrating the usefulness of the suggested control technique in providing satisfactory nominal and robust performance.
