Pneumoparotid: A Review | Chapter 06 | New Horizons in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 10

Pneumoparotid syndrome is a rare cause of parotid gland hypertrophy. It's caused by air leaking into the parotid gland's parenchyma through Stensen's duct.

The definition, epidemiology, clinical presentation, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and therapy of pneumoparotid are all discussed in this study.

The goal of this review is to raise health-care professionals' and the public's knowledge of a fascinating, unusual, but well-documented clinical phenomenon.
