Treasure Hunt on Web-Predicated Distributed Systems | Chapter 08 | Research Developments in Science and Technology Vol. 5

 Analytics are crucial in the information era. A variety of steps must be taken to fulfill the predicted increased demand for highly recognized analytical talents. Although there are several resources for learning analytics, none of them give immersive, hands-on experience dealing with large data sets. Analyttica Data Labs Pvt Ltd created Treasure Hunt, a learning analytics software. It is a web-based Java application that is used to process data and extract information while also teaching the user how to analyse data. The platform presently runs on a single node, with just flat files as data and minimal visualisation options. Using distributed computing, we are able to assist millions of individuals. To deal with larger, more complex data sets, database connection is being implemented. Once the necessary data has been gathered, it may be represented as any desired chart using R graph to summarise and show information in an understandable manner.

The goal of this research is to learn how to better manage astronomically large data sets in order to improve the outcomes of web-based distributed computing.
