The article includes an example of assessing the quality of social services for the elderly as well as an examination of the idea of the old as represented in the social work system's quality management documents. The analysis process followed the traditional steps of content analysis: inventory of standards, indicators, procedures, and tools; standardisation of the information contained in the aforementioned quality standards, classification into units of analysis, establishment of the main categories of analysis, coding, and final data analysis. The investigation yielded three kinds of information: senior citizens in specialised roles, the aged in relational systems, and the elderly in integration dynamics. The paper's principal conclusion emphasised the significance of creating intervention approaches and tools for social workers in tandem with the dimensions derived from the quality management system analysis.
