The current research focuses on the neuropharmacological characteristics of medications used to treat infant convulsions. Newborn seizures can cause significant morbidity and even death. Quick detection, referral, evaluation, therapy, and follow-up are all necessary for improving prognosis. Different anti-epileptic drugs, such as phenobarbitone and levetiracetam, have advantages and disadvantages, especially in terms of neuropharmacology and infant seizure management.
