Recent Study on SLP and Parkinson's Disease (PD) | Chapter 2 | Highlights on Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 8

 Parkinson's disease (PD) is one of the most common neurological conditions that is currently incurable. It's also a neurodegenerative condition that gets worse over time. It's a slow-progressing movement condition that starts with a slight tremor in one hand and gradually worsens. The face may have little to no movement in the early stages of Parkinson's disease, and the arms may not swing while walking. Voice can become soft or slurred as the disease progresses, and symptoms may worsen.
