The time domain reflectometry technique was used to measure the complex permittivity spectra ɛ* =ɛ’-jɛ‘’ of binary mixes of Diethylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether with aromatic chemicals at different temperatures in the frequency range of 10 MHz to 20 GHz. Using the nonlinear least squares fit method, dielectric parameters such as dielectric constant (ɛ0) and relaxation time (t) were extracted from complicated permittivity spectra. Excess permittivity (ɛ0E), excess inverse relaxation time (1/T)E, Bruggeman factor (fB), and Kirkwood correlation factor (geff) were calculated using these values. Intermolecular interaction and molecule dynamics at the molecular level can be predicted using the following factors. The study of binary mixture dielectric relaxation in microwave frequencies has become a highly useful tool for obtaining information about intermolecular and intramolecular interactions between mixing components.
