At four MBOCA manufacturing plants in Taiwan, a software to track 4,4'-Methylenebis(2-chloroanilin) (MBOCA) levels in the workplace and test for bladder cancer was implemented. According to the findings of this report, there is a proven bladder carcinoma in MBOCA manufacturing plants. In addition, one worker had atypical cytology combined with gross hematuria, and another had suspected malignant cells on urine cytology. MBOCA was also found to be highly toxic and carcinogenic in mice in an experimental study.
