DAP is an educational strategy that refers to teaching practises that take into account a child's age, interests, talents, and experiences in order to help them reach hard and attainable goals. In nations such as the United States of America, Taiwan, and South Korea, the strategy, which is based on three pillars: age, individuality, and culture, has gained appeal. The National Association for Music Education's (NAfME) opinions concerning developmentally and individually appropriate musical experiences for young children are based on DAP. The purpose of this study is to provide an outline of the relationship between DAP and elementary school music education. It is designed to give teachers a thorough understanding of DAP as an educational concept and how it may be applied in the music classroom. Children's musical potential, children's unique interests and abilities, children's play, an exemplary musical sound, activities and material, performance goals, a diverse learning environment, effective adult role models, and a pleasant physical and social environment were among the topics discussed. It is encouraged that teachers attend training seminars to understand how to effectively integrate DAP into the classroom and improve children's music learning. It is also suggested that DAP be included as a study theme in the music curriculum content of Ghanaian universities and colleges of education for the preparation of primary school teachers. For future research on related themes, doing a real-world classroom study through observations, questionnaires, or interviews is recommended.
