Establishment of Flash Flood Risk Map, Reduce It is Harmful Effect | Chapter 03 | New Visions in Science and Technology Vol. 11

GIS, RS, and software applications: MILE 11, MIKE 21, NDIV, SLOPE, SPOT 4, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM, DEM The analysis of satellite images allows for the calculation of the cover level and the density of scattered plants. By combining this data with maps of soil and rock types, a zoning map of flash flood risk in DakLak province can be created. The areas of persistent flash floods occurrence in DakLak province, Central Highlands, are described in the research scope of this topic. The flow feature in the province of DakLak is quite varied, owing to geographical characteristics, river network dispersion, and other connected aspects. That instance, some locations have just regular flooding and inundation, whereas others experience frequent flash floods. We estimate that Dak Lak province contains five locations prone to flash floods, or five primary areas at very high risk of flash floods, based on the findings of the consideration and survey, as well as the synthetic analysis: The research team has offered acceptable solutions based on the actual parameters of DakLak province: highly divided topography, limited vegetation, high annual rainfall, and extensive irrigation system.
