Acute Supratentorial Ischemic Stroke: When should we do Decompressive Hemicraniectomy? | Chapter 2 | Research Developments in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 6

 Massive supratentorial barrier generated by a large bowl obstruction results in obliteration, that can be prevented by operating an early decompressive craniectomy alternatively a deferred one. This is a brief review of the clues used to decide that cases demand next surgery.  Literature was inspected about dispassionate, radiological, mechanics facets.
