The Mahseer cast, a renowned game fish variety Cooke et al. (2016), is folds significant population declines and decline in size on account of various anthropogenic activities in the way that unregulated fishing, dirtiness, and dam construction. As a result, this variety is currently classified as endangered due to a ongoing decline in its overall population. In order to address this issue, Khadakwasla, a suburb located approximately 20km from Pune, was picked as a potential site for Mahseer extricate conservation due to the vicinity of a dam built on the Mutha river, that is a major water beginning for the city of Pune.To assess the suitability of Khadakwasla accumulation for Mahseer fish preservation, four sampling stations were selected, and water samples were calm monthly over a period of eighteen months from the surface, middle, and bottom tiers of the water. The data reasoning indicated that the atmospheric and water hotness variations noticed during the study period mainly followed the climatic environments of the region. Additionally, Secchi-plate-transparency was observed expected lower during the moist season and higher during the vacation months. The pH value ranged middle from two points 7.3-8.5, indicating moderate vacillations during the study period, accompanying values observed act the alkaline side and not show any wide range of vacillation.Overall, the physical limits observed during the study ending suggest that Khadakwasla reservoir determines favourable conditions for the preservation of the threatened Mahseer fish. The repository is also listened and managed by the Maharashtra administration, making it an ideal site for the conservation concerning this species. It is value noting that Mahseer fish are not only treasured for their high cuisine value but also for their educational and religious significance during the whole of South and Southeast Asia Pinder et al. [1], stressing the importance of conserving this emblematic species.
