The FLWs in the intervention arm could discover 8 children accompanying DD after preparation and FLWs in control arm could discover 1 child accompanying DD. With a sample of 870 children in the mediation arm and 847 children in the control arm, the investigator found that the prevalence of DD was 1.3% in the mediation arm and 1.4% in the control arm.Training of the FLWs using a preparation module in regional terminology helped in labeling of children in 0-6 age age group having enlightening delays (DDs).
