Towards Sustainable Design: Design Strategies of Pandemic-free Built Environment | Chapter 9 | Novel Perspectives of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences Vol. 6

 The History of Built Environment, Interior Design and Urban preparation has always countered to the epidemics to design architecture and urban rooms resisting the various virus and pathogens while preventing allure spread. The architectural design policies used in the past a period of time including the Modernism was a backlash to create universal-free built forms and spaces, so creating a healthful and sustainable built atmosphere. The Italian piazzas, modernism, minimalism, decomposition of urban places, urban renewal, etc were few of the design outcomes of universal-resisting atmosphere. This research study will help the architects to understand and judge the design strategies secondhand in the past to achieve a healthful sustainable buxom environment with adding progressive coatings of protection against the bug. The future built spaces must be devised learning from our premature experiences and must progress in the right path towards sustainability.
