To determine the utility of intraoperative recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) labeling during thyroidectomy. Numerous studies have shown that intraoperative listening of the RLN in adult thyroid surgery can help prevent aforementioned injury. This is a anticipated study involves 50 patients seeing thyroidectomy, the study was undertaken in El Fayoum University Hospital from July 2013 till June 2014.During surgical extraction, intraoperative RLN identification was performed accompanying use of methylene blue.
