Numerous industries, including the construction industry, are using textiles more and more. "Textile Architecture" and "Fabric Structures" are becoming more and more popular in the building industry due to its many unique qualities, like being lightweight, affordable, and durable, as well as providing low energy usage, adaptability, and resilience. Since the dawn of time, when no natural shelters were available, humans have used fabric buildings to provide shelter from the elements. Today, developed fabric structures come in all shapes and sizes to meet the demands of more complex applications. This article's objectives are to analyse the development of textile architecture, to highlight the diverse contemporary modern uses and architectural applications, and to examine the potential of sustainable building. In order to shed light on current worldwide advancements in the field of architecture in terms of creating good sustainable designs and technical solutions that utilise textiles, the study uses a descriptive research approach to chart the growth of such buildings.
