The methodologies for modelling biotechnological processes are theoretically analysed in the paper. Different modelling approaches may be used for different processes, but in each instance the mathematical description of the process must be made more realistic by using relevant experimental data. These techniques are offered for modelling processes with unknown mechanisms, multiparameter models, and biotechnology processes in column apparatuses.
