Bronchopulmonary actinomycosis will be covered in this chapter, along with our clinical recommendations and a literature evaluation. Actinomyces is a genus of filamentous, Gram-positive, anaerobic bacteria that is responsible for the illness actinomycosis. It is an uncommon infectious illness that progressively destroys organ systems, particularly the lung. The illness might mimic lung cancer or TB due to the vague clinical and radiological presentation of the pulmonary type. As a result, it presents the attending physician with a diagnostic conundrum. The diagnostic pillars of bacterial culture tests and histological examinations need particular care to prevent misdiagnosis. If detected and addressed at an early stage, it is frequently a curable illness condition.
