Infections are erect as one of the causes of malignancy with almost each group of microorganisms involved. Some of these contaminations developing cancers are steadily being transmitted in humankind. International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has certified certain microorganisms cultivating cancer in persons. Protozoans are one of ruling class. They are eukaryotic, unicellular, anthroponotic microorganisms. Protozoans cause cancer in humans by way of the insertion and unification of their DNA sequences in the host cells exciting cell division and proliferation apiece release of reactive oxygen and nitrogen radicals cultivating DNA damage and p53 gene hindrance. This review discusses few cancer-causing flagellates parasites like Plasmodium falciparum, Leishmania donovani, Trypanosoma brucie, Toxoplasma gondii, Trichomonas vaginalis, Blastocystis hominis, Theileria microti and Cryptosporidium parvum in the light of current researches done up until now in the field of microbial origin of malignancy.
