Study about Blunt Hohman-Lever Technique for Reduction of Intertrochanteric Fracture | Chapter 6 | Perspective of Recent Advances in Medical Research Vol. 9

 Intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures are coarse in the elderly and are created by a fall from a standing height. A 60 years traditional patient who bestowed to the emergency room after experiencing domestic fall and maintained injury to the right hip and was determined with bury trochanteric fracture right side. Failure of terminated reduction demanded a use of alternative measures and cartilage spike was not handy in the set, we designed our own technique of utilizing a bone machine introduced from the same cut from where scold/nail insert was done. This avoided continuation of the incision for open decline and preserved the biology. This method has never been specified before in English literature. Since our first case, we have favorably used it on 6 additional patients.
