The Management of Sub-Condylar and Angle of Mandible Fracture by a Trans-Buccal Trocar Along With an Intra-Oral Approach | Chapter 13 | Current Innovations in Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 10

This phase aims to evaluate the administration of sub-condylar and angle of jaw fracture by a trans-buccal trocar in addition to an intra-spoken approach. The intra-oral approach minimizes the risk of apparent scars and facial nerve harm.  Assessment of the appropriateness of bodily repositioning, fixation, and cohesion of the fracture location by radiographs, as well as pre- and post-functioning occlusion by photographs, were study limits. After six months, an orthopantomogram was used to assess the rupture gap and judge the anatomical repositioning using the in a pair student's T test. During the pre-active period for a mandibular angle rupture, the mean anatomical repositioning break gap calculation on an orthopantomogram was 4.06 mm with a predictable difference of 1.42 mm, and six months later, the mean was 0.5 mm with a predictable difference of 0.32 mm.  The P value was 0.00001, that shows a very high meaningful. Pre-operatively, the mean of the anatomical repositioning rupture gap measurement on the orthopantomogram for substitute-condylar fractures was 6.77 mm with a predictable difference of 3.54 mm, and six months later, it was 1.57 mm with a predictable difference of 2.37 mm. The P value commit not be determined by way of the tiny sample breadth. When placing a plate and screws, the trans-buccal trocar method offers acceptable physical repositioning, fixation, establishment, occlusion, and good accessibility.
