Abdominal Pregnancy: Epidemiological, Diagnostic, Therapeutic and Prognostic Aspects | Chapter 15 | Current Practice in Medical Science Vol. 1

A uncommon and possibly hazardous form of ectopic pregnancy is abdominal pregnancy (AP) (EPs). AP is not very widespread in industrialised nations. The case of a haemorrhagic abdominal pregnancy complicated by hypovolemic shock at 15 weeks of amenorrhea is presented by the authors, and the outcome was successful. This chapter aims to outline the epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic, and prognostic features of the condition.
