Anatomy is the cornerstone of medical education, and it is from Anatomy that all other branches have emerged. There are no two people who are the same. As a result, structures such as arteries, veins, nerves, organs, muscles, and bones differ from one person to the next. These variations are a common cause of surgical treatment failure. If the surgeon is unaware of these discrepancies, it could result in catastrophic consequences, as well as a slew of lawsuits. As a result, this monograph attempts to incorporate all vascular variations of the upper and lower limbs. Vascular surgeons and radiologists will benefit greatly from the material contained in this monograph. Clinical practitioners who need access to available locations for investigations, treatments, or clinical examinations should have anatomical knowledge of the arterial system. The growing dependence on high-tech diagnostics and other clinical examination skills among non-medical professionals may fail to account for numerous structural alterations in peripheral pulses, which are notoriously difficult to detect accurately.
For surgeons and anatomists, the normal and variant vascular architecture of the upper and lower limb region is critical for appropriate diagnosis and surgical treatments. The vascular supply of this region must be understood in order for vascular radiologists, surgeons, and clinical anatomists to perform clinical procedures.Author(s) Details
