Nanomaterials are recognised for their unique physical and chemical properties, which provide benefits and recommend them as viable candidates for widespread use in a variety of disciplines of science and technology. The importance of nanomaterials and numerous synthetic approaches such as chemical vapour deposition, chemical precipitation, sol-gel, and hydrothermal processes were covered in depth in this book. X-ray diffraction, BET surface analysis, infrared spectra, scanning electron microscope (SEM), Transmission electron microscope (TEM), and XPS were all described in detail. Nanomaterials were also bestowed with heterogeneous catalytic uses.
