A Recent Study on Non-Drug Therapy to Combat Coronavirus (COVID 19) | Chapter 03 | New Horizons in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 3

Based on the characteristics of the novel coronavirus that is causing the global pandemic, we have proposed several non-drug therapies for immediate clinical trial and implementation, including far-infrared, hot air, hot oxygen, ozone, negative oxygen ion, hydrogen therapy, and plasma physical therapy. Because the virus is temperature sensitive, temperature treatment may be useful against coronavirus. These procedures, in comparison to pharmacological therapy, are quick and effective, safe and without side effects, have the highest benefit-to-risk ratio, are user-friendly, and have low implementation costs. Starting non-drug treatment design and execution as soon as possible, conducting double-blind clinical studies, and determining the safety and effectiveness of these therapeutic modalities are critical.
