Green Synthetic Transformations Using Ionic Liquid, Solid-Phase Supports and Electricity| Chapter 7 | New Innovations in Chemistry and Biochemistry Vol.7

This chapter covers green synthetic transformations. The synthesis of 4H-chromenes and pyranopyrazoles in a choline chloride-urea ionic liquid, the solid phase synthesis of (alpha)-oxoketene-N,S-acetals, (beta)-enaminones and 4-quinolones, and the electrochemical synthesis of thiosulfonates and phosphonates are all described in great detail. Electrochemical reductive coupling of o-substituted carbonyl compounds and m-substituted carbonyl compounds is also discussed. We've listed the several mechanisms that could lead to the production of each product.
