The goal of this study was to learn more about the physicochemical and phytochemical properties of Melia azedarach. L. leaves. The obtained physicochemical results can be utilised to identify the powdered medicines. Different types of extracts were generated for phytochemical screening in order to detect the presence of secondary metabolites. Alkaloids, glycosides, fixed oil and fats, phenolic chemicals, protein and aminoacids, tannins, gums and mucilage, flavonoids, and carbohydrates are found in preliminary qualitative chemical tests for diverse extracts. The bulk of phyto components can be found in methanolic and aqueous extracts. As a result, it was chosen for pharmacological research. For the isolation of the available active components, Methanol extracts with a polarity between acetone and aqueous were used.
