Study on Biomagnetism and Prostate | Chapter 1 | Highlights on Medicine and Medical Science Vol. 13

 The expansion of malignant tissues boosted ionic motions, resulting in higher-intensity magnetic fields than benign tissues. The biomagnetic activity of prostatic carcinomas was shown to be lower in our research than that of breast carcinomas. Prostate carcinomas have a lower angiogenic activity than other cancers, which could explain these findings. The possible diagnostic utility of biomagnetic activity measurements in evaluating prostate lesions is discussed in this chapter.
