The Noli Me Tangere Novel: An Instructional Model for Teaching| Chapter 5 | Selected Topics in Humanities and Social Sciences Vol. 4

This study examines chosen utterances from 25 chapters of Dr. Jose P. Rizal's novel Noli Me Tangere from a semantic and pragmatic standpoint. The researcher went through the entire text, looking for tough words in each chapter. There should be three steps to it. The first is a linguistic-semantic interpretation-based study of the utterances. The second method is pragmatic, which is focused on two key contexts: verbal and physical. contexts. The third stage is to determine the link between semantic and pragmatic interpretations. Validators were given copies of the analysis so they could double-check it and make suggestions for changes to the interpretation. The researcher then creates an educational model for reading using several teaching tactics.
