The notions of peace and conflict are closely linked and exist side by side depending on the conditions. At no time in history has peace and conflict coexisted. When there is no conflict, there is peace; when there is no peace, there is conflict. As a result, a greater knowledge of the notions of peace and war will broaden the horizons of students interested in pursuing studies in these areas.
