The fiducial marker application technique in prostate radiotherapy is an effective ancillary radiotherapy method for reducing acute and chronic radiotherapy side effects, safely administering higher doses, and contributing to local and overall survival without causing discomfort to the patient. It is non-invasive and risk-free. Patients are able to tolerate it well. It's a crucial procedure that should be carried out in collaboration with Radiation Oncology and Urology / Radiology Clinics that have the requisite equipment. The purpose of this study was to provide broad information on the many types of fiducial markers and how to use them.
