RSH (rectus sheath hematoma) is an uncommon but life-threatening complication that can occur after any surgical surgery. Because of the non-specific nature of the entity, the low prevalence of disorder, and the acute nature of the presentation, it may be difficult to recognise the problem in a timely manner. It might range from a little issue to a life-threatening situation. This ailment, which is rather uncommon in occurrence, warrants a special mention so that every young doctor is aware of it. This is an attempt to increase awareness about this disorder, as prompt and effective intervention could save lives.
