This short explanatory observational study had been ventured to find out the material and public causes of burn and to assess the mathematical and clinical profile and situation outcome of blaze patients in the KEM hospital, Mumbai, India. Burn harms occur universally and have unfavorably affected humankind since antiquity till the day. In all societies burns form a serious medical and emotional problem. Burn harms constitute a major community health problem. A hospital-located descriptive practical study was conducted among 278 blaze patients admitted in the KEM clinic, Mumbai in 2017 to assess the mathematical and clinical profile of blaze patients and to study the medico permissible and social causes. Majority of inmates were females (56.12%), literates (73.74%), in the age group of 21-40 age (49.64%). Occupation-wise housewives were 38.85% attended by unskilled worker (18.72%).Majority of the cases (55.04%) were inadvertent whereas suicidal and murderous cases were 20.50% and 24.46% respectively. According to the size 25.3% inmates had 20% -39% of body surface burns and 21.7% had 80% or more burns. 53% of the cases were likely blood transfusion and 22.12% expired in the study period. By educating community about safety carefulnesses, enacting good health and security laws, designing decent appliances, treating blaze cases promptly, and utilizing the right referral services, it is likely to significantly reduce death, morbidity, and restriction due to burn harms.
