The research was carried out with two goals in mind: 1) A more in-depth introduction to semio-bio-photonics, which has previously been published, and 2) some novel results on the persuasive benefits of poetic language. Two pluridisciplinary perspectives are required to clarify the genesis and resonant power of (poetic) language: a) contributions from semiotics, phonology and linguistics, neuro-physiology, and biophotonics, in order to justify the mimetic dimension of the words by its sonorous signifier; and b) contributions from psycho-logics and psycho-analysis linked to literary hermeneutics, in order to explain how mental images and thoughts become emoted. Both viewpoints are (auto)referentially tied – for a clearer demonstration – to the writers' poetic / metaphoric language. The work is difficult in this integrative sense, admitting the assumption of sufi philosophers that "Light-filled sounds" are our words.
