Although the Deccan Flood basalt and other LIPs have likely been the subject of the most published research in the world, the question of how the hybrid rocks of the Bombay Volcanic complex were deposited in their tectono-magmatic environment has remained unanswered to this day. In this brief article, the author has made an effort to report some particularly important depositional features from the volcaniclastic deposits and Related basaltic flows from the region labelled as Bombay, which is located north of Bombay (Mumbai) Western Deccan Province's volcanic complex is known as the DVFB's youngest unit.
