Diet and nutrition are important factors in cancer. Dietary variables make up a large portion of the known, attributed cancer risks. Optimal nutrition and malnutrition are the two main categories of nutrition. The research is theoretical. The study's major goal is to describe the ideal diet for cancer patients. Undernutrition and overnutrition are further categories of malnutrition. Overnutrition is being identified as an issue in cancer patients increasingly frequently. For more than 15% of cancer-related fatalities, it may be blamed. Cancer patients should get nutrition therapy that is centred on the objectives of identifying malnutrition's prevalence and/or danger, evaluating nutritional needs, defining and executing appropriate nutrition interventions, and avoiding ineffective and possibly hazardous medications. enhancing the capacity to deliver efficient anticancer therapies while retaining function and quality of life. The best approach to provide nutrients is always through the gut. For the undernourished, preoperative nutritional supplementation is helpful.
