The purpose of this research is to find out how diverse and dense the zooplankton is in the Kolar reservoir in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The density of the planktons was determined using samples obtained from three different reservoir sampling points. In the reservoir during the research year of 2007-2008, there were three main kinds of zooplanktons. Their scientific names are Protozoa, Rotifera, and Crustacea. With 950org/l, Crustacea had the highest average density. The highest density was discovered in June, while the lowest density was discovered in November. Zooplanktons are significant bioindicators of water pollution, hence studying them is crucial for every water body.
