The potential of the Podillya region's sand resource base for construction is examined in this article (Ukraine). Raw materials' stratigraphic confinement is determined. The general regularities of the distribution of productive horizons across the landscape are described. It was discovered that the size modulus of Neogene sands is interdependent. The qualitative properties of four groups of deposits of various ages have been found and evaluated. The degree of provision of specific administrative units of the three Podillya regions with explored (balancing) reserves and resources was calculated. The accessible raw material base of sandy raw materials was objectively analysed for diverse purposes. Through the analysis of attractive locations and exploitation of existing recognised deposits, conclusions are drawn about the chances for boosting the production of sandy raw materials in the region.
